Joel's Getting Things Done & OmniFocus Site |
|
"The mind is for having ideas, |
not for holding them" |
The site is updated quite frequently, so you may want to subscribe to the GTD-OF Blog (the link to subscribe is way down at the bottom of the posts), where I will post what sections of the site have been updated. This way, you will get notified of updates, and get each tip delivered to you.
I will include resources, an outline of what I have learned, and tips and tricks. I hope to one day have it down to a simple step-by-step process overview, supplemented with tips, for anyone who wants to start implementing this process for themselves.

Getting Things Done is a productivity book that teaches knowledge-workers how to respond to the nearly unlimited amounts of input we receive daily, organize it, and stay on top of our daily tasks. It contains valuable productivity tools and methodology that helps us be more productive and feel less stressed out by the seemingly overwhelming number of tasks we have to stay on top of. |

OmniFocus is a software package designed to implement the GTD system of task management. It has tools to quickly and easily capture tasks, organize them, assign them to projects and contexts, and focus down on the tasks you want to focus on. |
