After School Enrichment Program (After School Club)
The After School Club is a fun and invigorating program for students in third through sixth grade. This program offers enrichment lessons and craft activities, gym time, computer time, snack, games, homework help, guest speakers on various topics, field trips, parties and family nights.
This program is not a day care. The child must be able to walk home or receive a ride at 4:00 p.m. when the program is over. Also, a parent or responsible adult must be available for contact during the After School Club in case of an emergency.
The After School Club has an energetic, reliable, trained staff. The program is held at the Lincoln Elementary School, from October through May, 2:20 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. The program is not offered on days that school is not in session.
Remember that many children have no place to go after school since many children live with one parent or their parents are working. Children need and deserve the benefits that after school programs can offer: improved grades and social skills, creative learning opportunities, and a chance to develop relationships with caring adults. After school programs keep kids safe, help working families, and improve students academic achievement.
