Hibbing Community Education
Our Mission:Learning is a lifelong activity. To help everyone continue their learning, Hibbing School District’s Community Education program offers expanded programs and enrichment classes for citizens of all ages. Community Education is a unique educational concept that believes education is a lifelong process. Everyone in the community—individuals, businesses, public and private agencies—shares responsibility for the mission of educating all members of the community. Community Education serves as a connection to other agencies and activities by creating partnerships and opportunities for citizen involvement. Community Education ProgramsFrom the youngest child to the senior adult, Community Education offers many opportunities for lifelong learning throughout the year. Early Childhood Programs:The early years of a child’s life are crucial. Development occurs very rapidly during these early years and parents are the first and most significant teachers. Early childhood classes and programs, are available to assist and support the parents, provide learning experiences for the child, help children develop to their full potential and be ready to start school.
